The South African Social Security Agency (SASSA) in Mpumalanga is currently browsing the Fernie two Group Hall in Mpuluzi to render companies into the community.

SASSA is going to be rendering providers which include new social grant applications, change of payment method, customer care enquiries, together with the Social Relief of Distress (SRD) COVID-19 grant enquiries.

In a statement, the agency mentioned it is alarmed concerning the significant quantity of people counting on social grants for survival.
“The purpose of the Integrated Registration Outreach Programme [ICROP] is to reach-out into a significant number of clients/beneficiaries to access SASSA services.

“This can be a result of the SRD lack of infrastructure at Fernie and there's no absolutely functional office dedicated to service the area every day. The support place established for intervention experiences a large influx of opportunity beneficiaries, that makes it hard for your Workplace to attend to all people who visit a service point.

“In this reach-out programme, SASSA will mobilise a lot more resources to enable the servicing of all shoppers and enhance entry to Social Assistance solutions,” the agency said.
